Ontology for Robot Programming domain
نویسندگان
چکیده
Robot programming requires knowledge of embedded systems, mechatronics, principles of kinematics and locomotion, sensors and actuators, control algorithms, behaviour planning and communication protocols. A complexity of robotics domain underscores the need for developing a domain ontology that describes domain concepts, their properties, restrictions and relationships between concepts. The paper describes an on-going effort to develop ontology for robot programming domain, presents a draft version on ontology, describes its structure and discusses it validation.

Query Architecture Expansion in Web Using Fuzzy Multi Domain Ontology
Due to the increasing web, there are many challenges to establish a general framework for data mining and retrieving structured data from the Web. Creating an ontology is a step towards solving this problem. The ontology raises the main entity and the concept of any data in data mining. In this paper, we tried to propose a method for applying the "meaning" of the search system, But the problem ...
متن کاملPublic Transport Ontology for Passenger Information Retrieval
Passenger information aims at improving the user-friendliness of public transport systems while influencing passenger route choices to satisfy transit user’s travel requirements. The integration of transit information from multiple agencies is a major challenge in implementation of multi-modal passenger information systems. The problem of information sharing is further compounded by the multi-l...
متن کاملHow People Naturally Describe Robot Behaviour
Existing novice robot programming systems are complex, which ironically makes them unsuitable for novices. We have analysed 19 reports of robot projects to inform development of an ontology of critical concepts that end user robot programming environments must include. This is a first step to simpler end user robot programming systems.
متن کاملA Deliberation Layer for Instantiating Robot Execution Plans from Abstract Task Descriptions
We present an application of Hierarchical Task Network (HTN) planning to create robot execution plans, that are adapted to the environment and the robot hardware from abstract task descriptions. Our main intention is to show that different robotic platforms can make use of the same high level symbolic task description. As an off-the-shelf planning component, the SHOP2 HTN planner is adopted. Al...
متن کاملControl Architecture Concepts and Properties of an Ontology Devoted to Exchanges in Mobile Robotics
A specific ontology is proposed in the scope of the development of a platform devoted to exchanges between academics and industrials of the robotic domain. This paper presents the tools used for knowledge elicitation, the concepts and properties linked with control architecture, the use of the resulting ontology for description of some scenarios and the tracks for the development of a domain sp...
